to stufff [their] pockets [with cash]

I also don't think the pulling of these licenses will spread to other areas, because the club owners will just stuff the appropriate pockets with cash. - http://goo.gl/GT5Z

to line one’s (own)/sb’s pockets

Poprawniej jest "nabijać sobie/komuś kieszenie" albo "... kabzę". znaczy to to samo, co "nabijać sobie/komuś" kasę. Swoją propozycję tłumaczenia podaję za słownikiem PWN Oxford.

To jest metafora.

agree Beata Claridge : Why let the supermarkets line their pockets?? Tak dla otwarcia oczu (i coby nie zgrzytalo). A kieszenie supermarketow sa bardzo, bardzo glebokie. Naprawde swietnie to ujelas. Pozdrawiam :)

disagree Polangmar : Supermakety nie mają kieszeni, więc niezbyt to pasuje. || Ale metaforę trzeba wpasować w zdanie - "to line supermarkets' pockets" mocno zgrzyta.
