I didn't find any details concerning other buildings (kennels etc.), but I suppose they must have been there as well. Anyway, a large stretch of the forest was surrounded with a wooden fence 30 km long and the game animals were kept there... given all that, 'hunting estate' sounds perfect. Thank you, Caryl! :)

Built in Zwierzyniec by Jan Zamoyski in the early 17th c. Noblemen and dukes were invited there, so I don't think the words 'hamlet' or 'village' would fit. A hunting lodge or complex sounds better to me. Sorry for the initial lack of context, but my original text didn't give much of it and I had to do some web research. I think it was a kind of a larchwood manor.

Could you give a bit more context? :-)

With regard to the note you've just added, I would say that if the text is speaking only of the building, then 'hunting lodge' would be what you need.

However, if the text is dealing with not just the lodge, but the complex of buildings (stables, kennels etc.), the animals to be hunted and the land on which they all stand, then 'hunting estate' might well be what you need in the estate being the entire property (land, buildings, and animals).

That should say: '. . . 'hunting estate' might well be what you need, the estate being . . . '. Sorry about the typo.
