Spanish term (edited): (Arg. & Uru) Chequera Común y Diferido SIN CRUZAR
Selected

(UK) Book of UNCROSSED Sight- and Deferred-Payment (Postdatable) Cheques

Diferido and not Diferida so a way needs to be found of overcoming the discrepancy of no-agreement.

Cheque diferido: deferred payment check - a legal form of postdated check in Arg. & Uru. (West). How this differs - rather than defers - from a Bill of Exchange or Promissory Note payable in the future need not be canvassed here as the negotiable instrument is still in cheque form.
Example sentence:

agree Robert Carter : I saw those links too, but I couldn't decide on what to use for "pago diferido"; looks like more of an euphemism for credit to me, but I suppose literal is probably best.

Thx. and congrats on the 'linking'. The highly ambiguous 'deferred' does look like a credit instrumentation, whilst I did consider turning the chequebook 'mid-checking' into a bill of exchange, promissory note and even an IOU.

Checkbook for a joint and [tax-] deferred account with crossed checks

A crossed check is any check that is crossed with two parallel lines, either across the whole check or through the top left-hand corner of the check. This double-line notation signifies that the check may only be deposited directly into a bank account

non-crossed checks [Sorry]
Peer comment(s):

neutral Robert Carter : As far as I can tell, "común" here is meant in the sense of "ordinary", rather than joint. See Adrian's ref.
