Spanish term

vale y se salva

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general) notary
At the end of a notary document. Last line

Sobrerraspado: E. Vale y se salva. Reitero fé.

(at least I think it's E, the copy isn't very good and it could be S).

Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Oct 23, 2004:
sorry I just don't think 'erased surface' makes any sense. You can erase words or markings, but not the surface. Anyway, that wasn't my question, and I think I will use "obliteration" for "sobrerraspado" anyway.

But thanks for your suggestions.

agree freya22 : Pero la palabra correcta es: Crossed out text or phrase, porque si es erased, entonces no habría texto alguno, ya que estaría "borrado"

agree Hazel Whiteley : I think "E" stands for "enmienda"
