Fundamentalmente, la CAJA FORENSE tiene por obligación principal la de obtener la recaudación en base a la regulación de honorarios (cabe citar que en el caso de las sucesiones llega en la actualidad al 20,9% y en los demás juicios al 4,20%).
Por medio de este procedimiento y en virtud del contralor que la Caja lleva a cabo (siempre velando por el estricto cumplimiento de la Ley de aranceles) se ha logrado complir con la finalidad de eliminar prácticas desleales. Prácticas éstas que, a la par de desprestigiar la actividad de abogados y procuradores, convierten la posibilidad de tramitar un juicio sucesorio en una licitación que, contraria las más elementales normas de ética profesional y de seguridad (al hacer partícipe en esta gestión a intermediarios innecesarios) terminan en un evidente perjuicio para los herederos.
