Siberian amethyst

It's a kind of rare amethyst.
Siberian amethyst is found in the Ural Mountains, with deposits outside the town of Mursinsk near the city of Ekaterinburg. Amethyst has been mined in this area since at least the 18th century and probably earlier.

Siberian amethyst or emerald.
I have also found references to "esmeralda siberiana". Without more information it's hard to say if the gem is an amethyst or an emerald.

Amethyst seems more likely.
