I hope someone can help me with the problem I am experiencing. I applied the latest SDL patch, then (not sure why!) I had to select 5 languages to resume work with the software. The result is that I am no longer able to translate, using my English - Polish pair. Whenever I open a file, I get an error message:
The file XYZ cannot be opened as it contains languages that are not configured for this installation.

I guess my mistake might have been that I failed to select Polish as one of the 5 languages (but I am not sure if I could or was supposed to do that). However, I am now completely stuck and cannot use Trados any more. In Tools > Options > Editor > Languages I am not able to select Polish as the target language - it is not on the drop-down list. How do I reset it or reconfigure language selection?
I have tried to reset profile but to no avail. Many thanks in advance! ▲ Collapse

Hello Zbigniew,
I'm afraid you will have to reinstall and make sure to select Polish as one of the five languages the first time you run Trados.
There's no other way to bring Polish back.

Dear Stanislav - thank you very much for your reply. Do I have to deactivate licenses, reinstall and only then install again? Thank you!

Hello Zbigniew,
that's always a wise choice. Generally, if you don't reinstall your OS or don't replace your network card, there should be no need to return your license, but I always do that myself just as well. As you put it, just in case.
