I have a bilingual SDLXLIFF file, and I need to "extract" a TM from it. Think you could help?

Hi Raya,
Just create an empty TM with the same languages as your sdlxliff and then import the sdlxliff into it.

Oh, that's great Paul, thank you very much. Although for some reason not all the segments were added. Thank you!

Is it possible to use the same process to add to an existing TM?

Hi Raya,
You can control which segments are imported based on segment status. So if you had draft segments in your sdlxliff the default would not bring them in. When you go through the import wizard you have a chance to set this and import draft as well if you like... although it's probably better to make sure you are happy with all the segments and confirm them in the sdlxliff rather than do it this way.
Or... if they were all confirmed maybe you think there are less because of the number of segments in the TM compared to the number in your sdlxliff? If this is the case it could also be because of duplicates that the TM does not need.
Regards
Paul

Hi,
Yes... any TM that matches the language combination of the sdlxliff.
