Según una de las definiciones que he encontrado:

A power broker is a person who influences people to vote for a particular person or electoral candidate. Power brokers also negotiate deals with other power brokers to meet their aims and political goals.

He visto un par de opciones: "mediador político", "mediador de poder", "inversor de poder", pero me quedo con "empresario político" o "mediador político".
