Is the term distillates correct?
Could this term be used in a brochure of an Enoteca describing their products:
"the very best wines, sparkling wines, distillates..." Or is their a better (more comprehensive) word?

Just thought I\'d add that Webster\'s definition for spirit is:
\"usually plural: strong alcoholic liquor produced by distillation\".
See the link below, from the Journal of the Beverage Tasting Institute (see the bar on the left side for the link to "spirits".
There are plenty of other examples on Google, simply by typing "wine + spirits".

If you are referring specifically to grappa: \" grappa is described in distillery terms as a \"MARC-BASED SPIRIT\" (and) is distilled from fermented grape skins(pomace)\". Another example of a marc-based spirit is Greek \"Rakki\" (quotes taken from 1st ref. above)
