Tact - in Arabic الكياسة
The ability to say or do the right or graceful thing. Funny they considered it a "North American" characteristic. I thought it was European upper class and almost extinct by now :-))

: Very tough one! Shows just why English speakers use the French expression - it expresses an undefinable characteristic (esp here, where it refers to a city). Something close to sophistication too, isn't it? Can't come up with anything better myself.
