I guess you could leave it as QA; otherwise, it could be translated
as "aseguramiento de calidad" to make a distinction between the control de calidad department and this one.

Ya contestada así la consulta, la refrendo ya que es el término que se emplea en la industria maquiladora (México); la diferencia radica en que el Control de Calidad se trata de detectar la calidad del producto ya hecho (presencia o ausencia de defectos) mientras que el aseguramiento de calidad de trata de incorporar calidad al producto desde un principio y no de detectar ni remediar defectos. En síntesis, es todo un sistema y una filosofía que evita defectos "haciéndolo bien la primera vez". Es algo que le conviene tanto al industrial como al traductor.

QA, aseguramiento de calidad...
Hola. Both are heavily used but that does not mean the answers above are wrong. I think I gather it refers to the part of the pre-selling process where the company does all it can to assure product perfection. After the purchase then it may become something else (like Garantía de Calidad, which is the "promise" the customer receives with the product). Control de Calidad and Calidad Total pop up a lot too but I sense it might be best to stick to a more literal translation of QA. That's the name given to a Quality Department when this department is not just a Quality Control Department dealing with quality inspection and all those all practices that don't improve quality at all. This is the name we recommend as consultants, and the most likely one to be found at the American Quality Society literature and forums. We have conducted many of these in Mexico and other Latin American Countries. I'm a Six-Sigma and ERP specialist myself and I conduct training on this.

That's the term used in Argentina (it was specifically indicated by a client I translated a manual for, some years ago). I agree with the colleagues, particularly with the explanation by Fronterizo.
