The only routine service operations required in a ChromaViso installation are:
• Cleaning at the same intervals as other operating theater equipment.
• Periodical visual inspection to ensure that all elements in the ChromaViso installation are secure, clean and
in perfect condition. Inspection at six month intervals is recommended.
• Tube replacement before the average tube life of 10 000 hours is reached. Inspection and, if necessary,
cleaning of internal components is required each time tubes are replaced.

An operating theater (or theatre) was a tiered theater or amphitheater in which students and other spectators could watch surgeons perform surgery. Today the term is sometimes used synonymously with operating room or operating suite, the room within a hospital where surgical operations are carried out today.
