En Guate se habla de saneamiento en las propiedades= free of encumbrances, pero si no es propiedad será que el documento puede contener un vicio y por ende podría ser saneado (you rectify when you're wrong but in this case you don't really know you're wrong). Se necesita mayor contexto.
