I've raised my rate by a modest half a euro cent for new clients who have contacted me recently but have kept it unchanged for existing long-term clients.

I assess and adjust my rates beginning of each year....I don't always increase them though

I'd like to, but... (sigh). Keeping also a USD account, currency fluctuations don't affect me that much because I usually have a little flexibility to wait until the conversion rate is more in my favor. | | |
My rates vary, and the Danish Krone, the currency I use most, is linked to the Euro, so it does not fluctuate much. Sterling does, but I often leave pounds as pounds and spend them in the UK. However, I have worked less for lower-paying clients and more for the ones who pay higher rates. My lowest-paying client seems to have given up on me, as their deadlines were usually tight and I was always busy wi...
