When I taught second grade, I thought it was important to understand the cyclical (not linear) nature of time measurement. We did this with many graphic visuals, color-coding, etc., and acted out the movement of the earth on its axis and around the sun.

Creo que hay que quitar el gerundio, en español suena raro... y además, parafrasear como para que suene "appealing" para los nenes de esa edad. Sería bueno ver los demás títulos de los capítulos. Para tener coherencia con todos. Suerte y saludos!
