these are domestic fixtures in an apartment, so I cannot see how "displays" would work, and "electro-surfaces" in the home doesn't sound right to me |

I think this means the cabinet fronts attached to built-in appliances such as dishwashers, RFs, etc. They are usually called appliance fronts or cabinet fronts for built-in appliances:

: This would be my choice, but I might lean toward "electrical panel" to be more generic. It might be a set of plugs for electricity, phone, computer network, etc.
