I like these! This is just to get the ball rolling - not a serious poetic proposition!
I was particularly interested by the use of the vague "they" (rather than he/she/it) to represent a gender-neutral god which could be masculine, feminine or indeterminate or "don't care"; I don't know if it's possible (or indeed necessary) to do that in French...
As this verse is a repetition of the concepts of the previous verse using "made" rather than "created", I would be interested to know what verb you used for "created" in the first verse. If you used créé, you wouldn't want to use it again, I suspect.

Just found the poem on the web and "they" doesn't stand out as much as it does in the isolated phrase. It is gender-neutral but doesn't seem to be making a point about it.
However, it's interesting how the poem talks variously about the gods, a god, a God and God... Sorry, I'm getting away from the point!

je pense qu'on pourrait chercher très loin pour le "they" alors qu'au final à mon avis c'est tout simplement pour éviter de dire he/she/it:
that which he created
that which she created
that which it created
all of these have extremely strong connotations of HUMAN gender (or in the case of "it", absence of human gender) in EN
I think you have this problem less in French. You do of course have un dieu, une déesse, but I imagine "un dieu" doesn't make you think "a male god".

Conçu, plutôt que créé – qui est déjà utilisé plus haut, et plus percutant aussi.
A God… j’aurais mis une minuscule à God, un dieu s’écrit plutôt sans majuscule lorsqu’il ne s’agit pas de notre bon Vieux là-haut. Et ce « God » en question n’est visiblement que l’un parmi ces gods pluriels.
C’est dit, je passe à la traduction poétique… le médical c’est moins savoureux :-) Bon courage !

(Thought "engendré", "genesis" was the best here. But not yet very please with the beginning either...) - I used "Ce que de leurs mains ont façonné" for "that which they made".
