I want the exact Persian meaning/ equivalence of "likely to" in sentences like this.

The compound expression 'to be likely to' may be considered as an auxiliary verb, meaning 'may' or 'might' to refer to a probability for an action or something to be prone to a state. That said, a good translation for this clause could be :

Please see these examples of usage for "to be likely to". This usage is much stronger than "emkan dashtan" or "momken budan" or "ehtemalan".
When we use this in English it means we are almost certain something will happen. "May" or "might" are much weaker by comparison.
