Por otro lado, lean on también puede interpretarse como lo plantea Michael.
Yo lo entiendo así, pero como correctamente señalan los demás colegas, hace falta contexto para saber qué tienen que ver los padres, eso ayudaría a determinar la traducción correcta del verbo.
