I'm already using "poultry" for "avícola" (poultry farm), but "aves de engorde" would just be "poultry" and that's it?

broiler chicken - birds intended for broiling

meat chicken - birds intended for meat, not eggs

birds at the finishing stage - this is probably what you need; such birds are not starters; they are at the last stage of growth just prior to slaughter.
