Okrem toho odporúčame dodržiavať nasledovné zásady antirezistentnej stratégie: Aplikujte herbicíd len keď je
to potrebné. Herbicíd aplikujte v schválených dávkach. Striedajte plodiny. V ochrane proti burinám
používajte herbicídy s rozličným spôsobom účinku. ***Zredukujte minimalizáciu ktorá spôsobuje

Selected
limit (herbicide) minimisation causing greater density of weed infestation
Rifai et al., (1996) noted that the onions over 5 cm tall were more resistant to flaming than the weeds, however, the treatment needed to be repeated to lessen weed density.

or, 'reduce' herbicide minimisation, of course

however, if a lower rate of herbicide is applied, less-susceptible individuals among weed species normally controlled may survive and set seed.In addition the reduced dose of herbicide may remain effective for only a short time, and late-emerging seedlings may also survive. There is a danger that prolonged use of this strategy may lead to higher inputs being needed in the future to control the weeds that have developed incresed tolerance. Once tolerance has developed within a population it is likely to persist within the gene pool of the weed seedbank.

actually, "higher density" might be more appropriate, high-density weed infestation, etc.

Charles, just in a way of explanation, I based my answer upon 'herbicide minimisation' a term which actually does exist; that is how I understood it. Thanks

Reduce minimization caused by increased weediness

Reduce aeration as this encourages weed growth
something like that (perhaps “soil-loosening” instead of aeration)
For a discussion on minimalizácia, see http://www.farmweb.cz/index.php?page=view_image&id=MzcyWDI3N...

“Aerating after a herbicide application can reduce the chemical barrier formed by the herbicide, allowing weeds to germinate.”

Discussion
Hannah - then it is not about limiting herbicide but about limiting minimisation which on its own has nothing to do with herbicides.
Michal: it is not the increased weediness that causes minimization but vice-versa - the minimization is the factor causing weediness
