Questa la didascalia completa che descrive la scena e parte della casa (le abbreviazioni sono stage directions. Per es.: U.L. sta per Upstage Left):
The house is an older home. U.L. is the exit to the front hall where the door to the home is located. U.R. is a set of stairs which lead to the second floor. A hallway runs the width of the stage across the back. The view of the hallway is broken up by a wall U.C.. D.R. is a fireplace. There is a couch and chair in the room as well as a dining set. There is some wrapping paper and some empty fast food containers on the dining room table, and a phone on a desk in the hallway U.L.. The exit to the kitchen is S.L..
