1. the question says alegato, but the quote is alegar.
2. the case must be civil, rather thn criminal but is not spelt out
3. alegato de buen probado as 'closing argument', West (US Am: 'summation') - assumes the case is presented orally, whilst statement can be oral or written vs. brief; summing-up (routinely done by a judge), Robb.
4. final submission also assumes the case is one of evidnce, but may not be, namely on liability or quantum only.
