The digital transfer mode technology based on PCM serves the bundled data transfer of all connected systems between the individual stations. It is divided up into a wide area, a regional and a local network. SDH technology will be used for the wide area network in a bandwidth of max. 622 Mbit/s with optic power transfer via LWL fibres. For the needs-appropriate and flexible distribution of the integrated dataflow, wide area network hubs (ADM) will be installed in every railway station. By means of the corresponding 155 Mbit/s and 2 Mbit/s interfaces the systems will be aufschaltet in the regional and local network. The Aufstellung and power supply is realisiert in the signal box modules.
