A quanto ho capito, questo mascara consente di scegliere l'effetto desiderato grazie alla sua 'buildable formula', cioè lo si può applicare in modo leggero o più marcato a seconda delle occasioni. Perciò 'scegliere l'effetto (desiderato)' mi pare possa rendere l'idea.

neutral  Sara Maghini: Mi sembra un po' troppo 'formale' per un testo di marketing, non credi? ;-) In più c'è anche un clash (secondo me) tra 'adott' e 'adatt', sembra un po' uno scioglilingua! Ovviamente è solo una considerazione (personale!!) che volevo far notare all'Asker!

Puo' sembrare letterale, ma ho trovato parecchi riscontri su siti dedicati al trucco: drammatico e' considerato l'effetto ottenuto applicando eyeliner (neri), eyeshadow per "smoky eye", e appunto mascara. cio' che una volta era definito da "donna fatale" insomma. Io oserei ancora di piu' con "modulare l'effetto ammaliante". Mi sembra una traduzione piu' accurata.
