Protective Conductor: The generator is „earthed " as standard (The centre and earth are connected by means of a bridge in the generator terminal box). This is a basic safety function, which offers basic safety as long as no other component has beeninstalled. It is, above all, conceived for supply and an eventual test run.This "earth" (PEN) is only effective, if all parts of the electrical system is earthed, and has a common “potential”. The bridges can be removed, if this is required for technical reasons and another protection system has been installed.
