limonotu

Some articles on Thai cousine in Turkish mention \"limonotu.\" According to another source its scientific name is Melissa officinalis (LABIATAE)but I am not sure whether it is the same one.
The following link may give a hint on where to find it:

Another name is \"limon yaprağı,\" there are some recipes using that name.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks! I had actually toyed with the idea of asking for limon cimi, but since even my wife (who is an expert in cooking) doesn't seem to know it, I thought there must be something else. I'll try the shopkeeper for limon otu..."

Limon otu

This may be a direct translation and I'm not sure whether it was translated correctly in the references. A small hint, find the latin species name and then do the search in web pages in Turkish.

agree Umit Altug : A direct translation, but it is most likely to be true. In a vegetarian cooking book published in Turkish, it was translated as "limon çimi"!!!
