Maschine The XXX two-track Jumbo is ideally suited for finishing (and optionally curing) concrete on both the bottom and slope sidewall of a canal or reservoir slope.
A single diesel engine driven generator electrically powers all the machine’s electric motor and cylinder requirements.
The main frame of the Jumbo is of a heavy lattice type construction and provides a rigid structure. Intermediate frame sections are pinned together with 1 3/4” (44.4mm) dia. pins. The frame has sufficient structure to span 25m. The main frame is supported on both ends by a crawler track/frame assembly.
The Terminal Truss sections are pinned to the crawler tracks with multiple pinning locations to the crawlers to facilitate varying the height of the jumbo in relationship to the top of concrete lining.
The Jumbo is equipped with a parallel arm system with hydraulic jacks for control of machine height above grade. Different pin holes are provide on 4” (102mm) centers on the crawler track frames and truss terminal frame to vary the frame height. The machine is not intended to operate, travel, or turn on uncompacted or irregular ground or with hydraulic jacks over extended or serious damage may occur, which is not covered under Warranty. For adjacent slab work in the Half Section Configuration the parallel arms are to be repinned to permit a maximum range of motion with the hydraulic cylinders.
