caveau semi enterré i think that's what they mean. In the States all vaults are underground... except in New Orleans, where the water table is very high, which gave a peculiar taste to the drinking water until hey figured out what the problem was (jus de zombie). I am not sure if the Brits allow above-ground burials. I don't recall seeing any in the various boneyards I have seen there.
