The Ambassador is abilitated as civil status officer. The consulate holds the civil status books. It registers civil status certificates on your behalf or on the behalf of your family. It can issue copies, extracts, records and certificates. If the certificate has been registered by a Jordanian authority, the consulate can transcribe it for you and issue copies and extracts of this transcription.

You can make arrangements for obtaining a marriage licence with the Senior Officer of the Civil Status Office (see further information for address) but allow at least two months to process the documentation and to make the necessary arrangements.
