Any help on what sort of "injecteur" this might be and what it might be in English appreciated. References particularly welcome!

I would guess that the store is part of a factory and "injecteur" refers to production rather than part of the mechanized storage system.
Asking for refs is a bit of a tall order because we do not know what kind of objects are being handled by the store :P
