"avec la mécanisation des entrepôts, certains terminaux sont inadaptés à l'utilisation sur les injecteurs" (goes on to explain that the keys on these terminals wear out quickly because the same keys are pressed repeatedly). Any help on what sort of "injecteur" this might be and what it might be in English appreciated. References particularly welcome!

Because the meaning of "inject" is identical in both languages and would be understood even if some other jargon were used in the industry.
I would guess that the store is part of a factory and "injecteur" refers to production rather than part of the mechanized storage system.
Asking for refs is a bit of a tall order because we do not know what kind of objects are being handled by the store :P
I am not being very helpful am I?
:))

The contaxt is limited, to say the least.
But "nozzle"is the most frequent for "injecteur". Otherwise, "feeder" could be suggested.

not sure exactly what these are, but maybe they have something to do with data transmission and that might fit your context?
