Wir müssten hier schon ein bisschen mehr Zusammenhang haben,
wenn es um den Stundenaufbau beim Sporttraining geht spricht man auch von "typical session" - und wenn es jedoch darum geht vorzuführen aus was so ein Sportstraining besteht, kommt auch
"taster session" zum Zuge (mit der man auf den Geschmack kommen soll).

: I think this sounds best if indeed it is a "taster" before potential students enrol in the course. If not, I'd go with Beate's suggestion above.

Introductory session
The famous "Schnupperstunde" (which I believe doesn't always have to last 60 mins)? "Session" doesn't back-translate that well, but is often what is meant by "Stunde" IME.
