Glossary entry (derived from question below)
German term or phrase:
Ofenbild
English translation:
furnace configuration
German term
Ofenbild
"Die OP37 Software kann nicht 100%ig übernommen werden. Das Ofenbild z.B. muss auf den Ofentyp angepasst werden. Ebenso das Prozess-, Rezept- Reglerbild und alles was ofentypisch ist."
They are saying that the software cannot be taken over as is but must be modified/adapted for the specific furnace type. Is Bild in this context a diagram, or more like configuration?
Many thanks in advance for help.

Proposed translations
configuration
tiled stove, picture on a tiled stove
i hope I could help you a bit
For instance, parameter Ofenbild must be adjusted via the parameter Ofentyp
As for the phrase, you may start with b.Z translation first. 2nd, I think that both Ofenbild (which might mean here even the number of oven or furnace) and Ofentyp can be some variables or names of parameters (entries) whihc should function within the software.

You may want to try " functional arrangement" but I also thing configuration sounds good too.
design
That's how I understand it, Beth.
The Bild stands for image/design, I'm sure.
The buying party has a certain picture, image, design in mind which has to be adjusted for technical reasons.
