German term

schwungvoller als beabsichtigt

Non-PRO German to English Art/Literary General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters fictional novel
The protagonist is scooping the woman up from the sofa and carrying her to the bedroom. So I am trying to get an adjective in after "He scooped her up, more.....than he intended". I don't want to use forcefully, ideal would be something with sweepingly, but obviously cannot say 'more sweepingly'.

Any suggestions?
