German term
sich verpflichtet fühlen
German to English
Law/Patents
Law: Contract(s)
From an academic association's constitution:
"Mitglieder können natürliche oder juristische Personen werden, die sich dem Vereinszweck verpflichtet fühlen."
The dictionary translation "feel bound by" doesn't really make sense here. Maybe it's more along the lines of "agree with" or "agree to abide by"? Any suggestions gratefully received!
