I am translating an application by a multinational company with the Swiss Federal Tax Administration.
The document explains at length the fairly complex structure and recent acquisitions of the company.
The sentence in question reads: "Es wird nachfolgend aufgezeigt, wie die Gruppe bemüht war, das frühere Geschäftsmodell im Einklang mit dem ***Rulingantrag*** zu implementieren."
Is a "Rulingantrag" an "Antrag über ein 'Ruling'"? Application for ruling?
