In German medical report of woman with endometriosis, in transvaginal ultrasound image report:
"TVS: Uterus gestreckt bis retroflektier73x51mm, EMR 7mm; Adnex rechts 36x22mm"
What would "EMR" stand for in this type of exam and what would it be in English?
Thank you!

Please take a look at this reference; there are 2 occurences for 'EMR' (EM might refer to 'endometrium' but I don't know what 'R' stands for; it might refer to the endometrial thickness (which would be abbreviated 'ED', though); but it can't be 'Resektion', as it's the wrong gender.
According to the second reference, the patient is 'virgo' so I wonder if a resection is likely in this case.

No samples are directly mentioned, but there is a "histology" section that discusses the endometriosis. A "Retroperitoneale Resektion" had been performed of uterus, right adnexa and sigma. So apparently the EMR is referring back to that, is it normal to give the measurement?
Still, does this work in your context??
Does the report mention any (biopsy/mucosa) samples?
