Anforderung [Soll]
German to English
Medical
Medical: Pharmaceuticals
entry in table entitled "Integrität von UF-Kerzen"
Anforderung [Soll]

Is this doppeltgemoppelt for "requirement", or does Soll denote something else here?
Thanks in advance

specification [target]
In such a technical context, they are working according to a 'specification'. The 'Soll' is the value it should be - this is called the 'target' value in technical jargon
Example sentence:
Operating Air Gap Range: Operating within specification, Target Speed > 10 rpm
Note from asker:
thx, also quite plausible, will try to find out from the client |

requirement [ough to]
I suppose this means "Soll-Anforderung", which is similar to a Wunsch-Anforderung and a "Sollte-Anforderung" (both "should-requirement")

Note from asker:
thanks Gillian "ought to" would be a bit too "salopp" for my context, "nominal" hört sich gut an |

: requirement [nominal]; they have probably set the value to the requirement
