Mit der Methode ,,generateSourceId" der OpenSAML-Hilfsklasse ,,Util" wird aus dem eindeutigen Bezeichner für den CompSOA-IdP, dem der Wert "compSOAIdP" über die Konstante ,,Constants".

I confess that I have absolutely no idea what this sentence means. Is something missing here?

Hab gerade mal nach dem Satz gegoogelt, schien ja aus einem Handbuch zu sein. Und siehe da, könnte Dein Text sein (Link siehe unten):

"Mit der Methode generateSourceId der OpenSAML-Hilfsklasse Util wird aus dem eindeutigen Bezeichner für den CompSOA-IdP, dem der Wert "compSOAIdP" über die Konstante Constants. PROVIDER zugeordnet ist, eine SAML-konforme, 20 Byte große Source-ID generiert."

Asker: Sorry, Michaela, almost immediately after I posted this question, I found the rest of the missing sentence and straightaway closed the question in proz as an Errant Question. You were obviously quick on the draw :-) Thanks anyway.
