cordonate

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Architecture marble
Hi,
I'm translating a website for a marble products company (they produce flooring, stairs etc). I'm a bit stuck on "cordonate" in the following context "ARREDO URBANO: piazze, marciapiedi, colonnati, cordonate"
I know "cordonata" is actually a word in English but I'm not sure whether it's widely understood or not.
Unfortunately there isn't any other context to go on.
Any suggestions?

curb or ramp? interesting - curb and cordonata were the two possibilities I had come up with, perhaps I need to clarify with the client what they actually mean. I think "graded ramp" is a good suggestion though.

I'm not sure if cordonata would be widely understood. This could be a possible generic alternative.
