Valutazione al "fair value"... anyone have a better expression for this?

I know "fair value valuation" is correct (well, 24,000 hits on google at least), but ... well... it sounds awkward.
Since there are so many good financial translators who are Kudoz sharks on this site, can anybody come up with a less repetitive expression?
NB: I am looking for an expression that sounds nice to me personally, so this is very subjective question! If I don't award you the points, please do not hold it against me.

I don't know if you like my suggestion but I can assure you that <<fair value measurement>> is used in the IAS (International Accounting Standards) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) issues. I have got just in front of me their 2006 issue.
For the points...well..don't worry, I will not feel offended if you don't award me! LOL

| I know IAS always use "measurement", but a lot of clients still prefer "valuation". I had a heated argument (they got heated, not me, needless to say) with someone recently about how "measurement is wrong!" (their opinion), until I sent them the IAS site... *sigh*... still it does sound less repetitive! :) thx! Raffaella! |
