Italian term

chirografo

Italian to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
I am aware that this is a type of unsecured bond or debenture (not an average bond as is in the KudoZ gloss already). I simply can't make sense of how to phrase this correctly around the two occurrences of the term here below (and no, I don't need the translation done for me, just an idea of the meaning of the term in its context here 2 times. Thanks in advance!

una posizione di chirografo in testa alla fallita BIP XXXXXX riveniente da diverse linee di credito cedute da banche differenti, delle quali solo quella ex ---- risulta insinuata al fallimento in chirografo nei limiti del ridimensionamento

"an unsecured position with BIP... consisting of various credit lines"

chirografo just means there was no collateral pledged, no backing, no security
Note from asker:
Thanks Jim. This is what I was using while waiting to see if anyone had a different idea. Thanks for the confirmation.
