Italian term

situazione ipotecaria

Italian to English Law/Patents Real Estate
I'm having a hard time deciding whether a more literal translation should be used for this, or if there is a specific term in English.

In a property assessment compiled by a notaio, there is a section entitled "situazione ipotecaria" and subsections entitled "iscrizione ipotecaria" and "altre spese" that follow.

Thanks in advance!

(E&W) situation re mortgages & charges (AmE: & land liens)

security interests and hypothecation may work for Scotland, but land charges and mortgages for England & Wales where a lien is over movable property, chattels and company shares.

Example sentence:

Mortgage by legal charge. In a mortgage by legal charge or technically en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortgage_law‎

(situation relating to) security interests

I think the equivalent English document would leave out "situation relating to".

neutral James (Jim) Davis : While I am familiar with "security" as a synonym for "collateral", I would just have put "mortgages" here Tam.
