it's a new concept for the house of the future, whereas electronic signals are sent through the house electrical system in order to create an "intelligent network" between electrical appliances. i.e. the fridge, connected to the phone, and provided with a computerized system, is able to order directly to a shop food products when they're finished (for instance milk, according to the software specifications).
