She has a heart of a real dancer.

It is short, but nonetheless, explains the way she is as a dancer.
Just wanted to avoid too many words and took more of a straightforward approach on this.

She is vested with the whole heart which is most important to a dancer.

Peer comment(s):

neutral Roddy Stegemann : I would not combine "vested with" and "heart" in the same sentence, unless I were describing someone like George Soros. The term "vested with" is a very material notion, neither one of passion (enshrine), nor mind (Adler).

She is a 'NATURAL' born dancer.

Thanks Susan!

Peer comment(s):

neutral humbird : Take out "natual - typo" then I believe this is pretty good.

She has the attitude of mind vital for being a dancer

心の持ち方 can be interpreted different ways, but I think what the sentence is saying is that the person has the right attitude of mind for being a dancer.
Peer comment(s):

agree Shannon Morales : I think this sentence structure fits the original best, but I'd replace the awkard "attitude of mind" with just "attitude" or "mindset," and add "that's/that is" before "vital."

Thanks.
disagree Roddy Stegemann : Attitude of mind is a redundant expression and poor English. / Although used I would not say common. 300,000 hits in a world of 100s of millions of speakers does not represent a very large population.

It's a pretty common expression (http://tinyurl.com/o5ouf), but thanks for the comment.

She is gifted with the passion of a dancer.

「備わる」は「to be gifted」ですね。

neutral Shannon Morales : Beautiful sentence! But I suspect "passion" here may be taking too much poetic license. It may very well be what the writer had in mind but unfortunately, he/she didn't express it clearly or directly enough for the translator to assume so.

However, if it belongs to the same context flint2-san inquired about some of its parts recently, then this is a complimentary introducton/speech, and it is very much of poetic nature.

In her is someone with the heart of a true dancer.

Consider the following three sentences
Now look again at the sentence you have provided.

The person who has the heart of the dancer and the person to whom you refer are not exactly the same people. The author may be implying that the person with the heart of the dancer lives within the person in question, but that they are not yet one in the same. In effect, a description of potential, rather than reality.

You may want to check with the author.

She knows how dance must be danced.

ダンサーのもっとも大事な心の持ち方が備わっている suggests that she has mastered all the most subtle techniques and spirits dance requires of her; she knows what dance is an authentic dance, otherwise as a master, she knows how dance must be danced figuratively.
