Non-PRO Portuguese to English Social Sciences Archaeology photo captions
I am translating the documents of an archaological dig from Spanish to English, and one of the photos was reproduced from a Portuguese publication. Thanks for any help on the caption: "Exemplos de machados de cobre que repiten, *no esencial*, o deseño dos de pedra pulida".

CAT impossible It's a picture from a pdf.
Yep It's certainly Galician.

Confusion

"Exemplos de machados de cobre que repiten, *no esencial*, o deseño dos de pedra pulida". Is this the original Portuguese text or a Spanish translation of the Portuguese?

In fact, I think this must be some kind of hybrid text. A good example of Portunhol or Espaguês.

At first glance, amidst the confusion I believe there is a typo and it's supposed to say "não essencialmente".
