My kids collected these when they lived in Uruguay and in Brazil. We used to cut them out of the newspaper (so those were not really stickers, you had to supply your own glue), or else the stickers were purcahsed in packets at a candy store. The idea was to fill all the numbered spaces in the album, and some figurinhas in each series were very scarce, of course, so this resulted in trading with friends.
