Spanish term

Tipo de Luminarias: Cerradas

Spanish to English Other Construction / Civil Engineering Construction
This is the type of lighting in a business as stated on their insurance policy. Type of lighting: "cerradas"

I'd give you more context, but there isn't any. this is how it appears on the form.

Sealed lighting

or protected lighting.

I did a google search under 'sealed lighting' and lots of results came up, so I hope this helps. Good luck!

Please don't use the term luminaries (at least not in the US, it's not commonly used)
Peer comment(s):

neutral Nikki Graham : luminaires (and not luminaries, which is not quite the same thing) is the correct technical term in this context

Below is from a web site. The Spanish is just below the English. Not a strict "translation" but I think "cerrado" is explained & it seems to be "closed" in English:
"Outdoor lighting: Street , avenues, pedestrian zones, parks, gardens, squares, parking grounds, gas stations, industrial estates. Or outdoors lighting AXTRALUX blended light lamps are used in closed light fixtures."

The web address is too long, just Google "ASTRALUX MVLI"
