Spanish term

FVE

Spanish to English Medical Medical: Cardiology pulse rate
FVE appears to be a way of referring to pulse rate. It is used in a Spanish text but may be an English abbreviation. The text says " ACxFA a FVE 140 x ´ " Can anyone help clarify this?

And once again, somebody chooses another answer but uses mine for the glossary. I mean, I answered that 10 hours before Yasser! Well, never mind. Happy Easter.
liz askew Apr 8, 2007:
Shouldn't the points have gone to Roxana?
Yasser El Helw Apr 8, 2007:
"Ventricular Rate" seems to be much more common than "ventricular frequency" so I think its a better option. Good luck!
celiacp Apr 7, 2007:

Take a look at this:

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease has been associated with a high frequency of arrhythmias. Few studies have analysed the role of reduced lung function in predicting atrial fibrillation (AF). The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and risk of first episode of AF in a prospective study.
celiacp Apr 7, 2007:
